Excellent pics as usual RB, I particularly like the Canada Goose. I fkn hate cats but have to agree in the beauty of your sisters cat, outstanding photo.

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

Is the Canada Goose the Black neck ones ?

I just generalise them all as ducks, as my brain only stores certain information.

I think the colour on the peacock at the top is amazing

Took each photo at only 7mp aswell. Still learning with this camera, but love it.

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

I've ordered a pair of peacocks and should get them next month, so will be plenty for you to photograph here if you fancy it?

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

Sorry, yes Canadas with black neck - others greylag. You'll have to come and see mine - bring a stick though - they'll have you!!

I've also got runner ducks, which look like ducks but with very long necks.

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

I might come down one time...possibly with LBP ? Then I could pass on the fullsize pics to you, to use at your leisure. Then I'll get some more practice in.

Where do you order peacocks from and how much ? They are magnificent !

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

I've got a few mates in the know, mine will be around £40 each which isn't bad when you consider we've bought loads of fertile eggs for £10 each and haven't hatched one. They don't put the plummage on until the second year though.

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

Also a peacock is the very best guard dog you can get in the world. They like to roost where they can see all their property, like on a garage roof or whatever and believe me they let you know when anyone comes within a mile of you!!

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

There was a massive egg in the middle of the animal enclosure, unfortunately it was smashed and looked to have blood in it.

I was guessing it was a peacock egg due to size.

You hate cats? You'd love my beast of a cat, his breed is called Maine Coon, I love him to pieces.

I had a duck egg the other week and it had a very young duck in it, I crunched it and spat it out.

Yeahh, nothing personal, you have a lovely cat but I hate the bad press that they give to dogs!

All this talk about toxicaris causing kids to go blind and blaming dog fouling is utter bollax. Dog shit is there for all to see and I just can't subscribe to a child eating it. But the real culprits are cats, they shit anywhere but there own garden and then hide it! Covering it in soil, where a kid playing in a sandpit or wherever and might get some on their fingers.

I have bred dogs for over thirty years and have always picked up my dogs shit, everytime, and always wormed them every three months - how many cat owners can say that??

We are both obviously at the responsible end of pet ownership but lets be honest, most cat owners let their pets roam? Stray dogs are invariably picked up by the dog wardens these days? Why aren't there cat wardens!!!

True, but I don't think a stray domestic cat has ever killed a young baby.

Besides the point that they're all whores. Most of the time peploe aren't hacked from a sites like photobucket, youtube etc.. Sites like this have small vulnerability. Their hacked from unsecure, third party websites. Since their obtuse whores they use the same pass and user everywhere. That or they're phished. Either way their obtuse and kind of deserve to learn their lesson.

Re: East Park (Hull) Pt II

It looks fun, but saying the words so many times whoutit giving her time to regester them would teach her to only fallow the command after you say it like, 5 times? I'd say it once, and if she doesn't do it after 5 seconds, then try again as opposed to  Kai sit. Kai sit. kai sit. Kai sit. kai sit.  She'd just look at me and think,  Mom, what are you DOING?
