Re: Jack Hobbs bid

Very reasonable price, hell of a lot better then paying 3 million for Gerrard goes to show NP is the man when it comes to transfers.

Re: Jack Hobbs bid

Good player, I hope we get him, I thought he was better then Gerrard, I know a lot of people though Gerrard was the best thing since sliced bread, I thought Gerrard was about as good as Wayne Brown (who I've met!) but scored more goals.

Re: Jack Hobbs bid

I reckon that if we've bid £800k, that we'll agree on £1m. Would still be a bargain at that for a solid centre back who wants to play for us.

Re: Jack Hobbs bid

I don't even remotely care if Gerrard lveeas anymore. Something happened to him that he either doesn't give a f**k or is just past it.  If someone if willing to pay forty million, you make that deal.I still don't think we need to sell due to losing out on the CL, Purslow has made it clear that we don't need to, people seriously overestimate that money. The difference in the new shirt sponsorship alone covers most of the money lost from getting to the group stages. But if players want to leave because they don't think they'll win there, I can no longer hold it against them.  This team is not winning a trophy under Rafa, that is clear enough.  Without two incredible performances from Gerrard the cabinet would be bare under Rafa.  This is the guy who played a CL Final with Bolo Zenden and Mark Gonzalez.  But I think Torres will stick it out, he seems to actually care.  Granted if City offer 100 million you have to make that deal, because no player let alone an absurdly injury prone one, is worth that.  But unless you get rid of Rafa it won't matter, because he will spend it poorly.  I'm absolutely ashamed of being a Liverpool fan right now.  Massive changes are needed and have been for three years running.

"...'Cuz you probably have the time"Sorry, I was tniyrg and failing at being clever. I'm consistently impressed with all the work you do. I check the blog nearly every day and it is invariably the first place I go to get post match discussion. I don't know how you put together the massive info graphics (like the SG/JC.), but they are fabulous. No insult. Just amazement. Thanks for the link. http://admezhthq.com weoxpy [link=http://qzzbdq.com]qzzbdq[/link]
