Re: Boothferry Park Today (1/4/2011)

Dearest Dickie-boy,“People tend to complicate their own lives, as if linvig weren't already complicated enough.”  Carlos Ruiz Zaff3nIt's clear that for almost 65 years you've been speaking of, ruminating about, expounding upon, ranting , bullshittin', philosophising, rambling, grumbling, lecturing, etc. etal about photography, film, theories, and the like.  I' d add women and their minds and bodies for the past 53 years.Assuming that my math is possibly correct can you imagine how friggin' complicated the life of Dickie-boy must be and if Zafon is right, sheeet Richard ALS is the least of your complications.Naturally that's easy for me to write as I sit here in sunny L.A. Concerned with my goal of semi-retirement,  a brewing  common cold , the stockmarket and death.  Oh yes, death is on my brain as well as on yours.2 weeks ago I visited the tuesday AA  group getting a young friend who found himself jailed for an alchohol related offence  to a room he needed to visit. It was an eye-opener and a reminder of old faces missing from this group, missing from my eyes but imprinted on my brain   a tall Italian, a short Jewish doctor, etc were all there ,unseen to others but clear to my vision. You would have enjoyed the event, sitting next to a 23year old who's just figuring it all out .jealous? I ceratinly was ,remember we were stupid until our 48 or 49 th years.  It was AA,it could have been any 12 step the same issues, the same  cure  the selfsame  complication  each of us carry about. You and I would have embraced, wiped each others tear of laughter and sorrow and I would have kissed your stubbly cheek, life long friend that you are.Thanksgiving Day is not over for me,nor for you. I give thanks froour friendship.BestDavid

Re: Boothferry Park Today (1/4/2011)

Well, CC, I was going to respond to your <a href="http://qgnyfam.com">coemnmts</a> until I glanced through your blog and found that your preferred form of government would be a theocracy.  That tells me all I need to know.  It's religious nutjobs who've landed us in the mess we're in today - from the Ayatollahs and the Mullahs to their radical counterparts in Judaism and Christianity.  My preferred government would be one where we bundle up religious extremists, pack them a lovely lunch and point them in the direction back to their caves.

Re: Boothferry Park Today (1/4/2011)

By  on                 I think the best ideas always start off with a real need   like yours.  If I was a young peanrt without a car this would be a great service for me. If the product comes up to a similar price or lower, that would be even better and a total no brainer. I just loathe lining up and I can't imagine carrying bulky stuff on the MRT or bus.  Taxis are too expensive these days.

Re: Boothferry Park Today (1/4/2011)

"Why would the Prime Minister of Canada debate the <a href="http://cnhmkpsl.com">opioistpon</a>, on the <a href="http://cnhmkpsl.com">opioistpon</a>'s election platform, when there is no election campaign going on?"Same reason the government would run election-style attack ads against the leader of the <a href="http://cnhmkpsl.com">opioistpon</a> when there is no election going on, perhaps?Or is it just that smearing is ok anytime, but actual debate must  be only during elections?Jesus wilson, are you really that stupid?

Thank you Margaret!  I certainly will. As for<a href="http://mdverm.com"> kintting</a>, lol me too   I've made blankets for the kiddos, scarves for nearly everyone, several bags of various sizes and styles, and only two items that were cusom fit.  Those two were for my girls, a shall for my oldest and a dress w/ cape for my youngest.  I'm particularly proud of both of those as I made the with our a pattern, just "off the top of my head".
